Cordys says that led be its partner, Capgemini, the SOA platform will simplify existing systems and business processes, and improve ABN Amro’s ability to respond to regulatory demands and changing business needs.
Rob van de Star, VP of Capgemini, commented, by using the Cordys platform, companies can integrate existing applications and systems, without having to make drastic changes to the existing infrastructure. This reduces risk and makes companies more flexible and agile.
The platform uses web-services technology, supports the re-use of existing functionality, and creates an environment in which new functionality can be added as needed on an ongoing basis.
