As copper chips come to market amid reports of low or even zero yields, IBM Corp remains bullish about the technology it pioneered. Bill O’Leary, director of communications at IBM Microelectronics, said that the company is shipping copper interconnect parts to Apple Computer Corp and for its own S/390 mainframes.
