The portal was launched in February 2004 but only 25 companies registered to use the service.
Plus-Portal.dk has been an essential element in rendering MidCap+ and SmallCap+ more visible and in boosting interest in the two segments among investors, though it has not quite gained the ground and had the penetration power we all had hoped for. It is the right decision to discontinue the activities on the portal, said Copenhagen Stock Exchange (CSE) deputy president Jan Ovesen.
On October 2, 2006, OMX is going to launch the Nordic list, which comprises just under 600 companies listed on the exchanges in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki. The list includes three segments across the exchanges: large cap, mid cap and small cap based on market capitalization.
