COOLLOGIC CLAIMS $800 WORKSTATION

By CBR Staff Writer

Coollogic Inc says it has come up with an intelligent computing terminal which it claims is the lowest cost workstation on the market. The Dallas, Texas-based electronics company says the CL- 5000 is set to sell for under $800 and has been designed for use by companies that recognize that spending a lot on a high powered computer is unnecessary if employees are only using it for word processing, spreadsheets and email. The company believes it will be able to sell the product via its value added resellers at around half the price of a typical computer.
