CONVEX UNVEILS SIX MODELS

Convex Computer Corp, Richardson, Texas, yesterday duly unveiled its C-2 minisupercomputers and claimed that the $1.2m top-end model, out in the fourth quarter, delivers 12 times the performace of the C-1 and matches that of a $5m entry-level Cray X-MP uniprocessor, for $1.3m.
