CONVERSION TECHNOLOGIES PLANS MONITOR RECYCLING PILOT

Hazlet, New Jersey-based Conversion Technologies International Inc is to begin a series of pilot tests to determine whether it will be cost-effective to recycle monitors. IBM Corp and Unisys Corp are providing monitors for the evaluation and recycling could be lucrative because disposal is difficult as they contain substances that are deemed hazardous waste by the Environmental Protection Agency, and therefore barred at ordinary landfills.
