Convergent Inc, as we must learn to call the San Jose company, has completed the acquisition of Baron Data Systems in San Leandro, California, which now becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Convergent Business Systems Inc: Convergent already had 40%, and mopping up the rest has cost it about $33m cash.
