CONVERGENT COMMITS TO 88000

Convergent Technologies Inc followed Stratus Computer Inc yesterday to say that it will be using the new Motorola 88000 RISC, saying it will participate in the 88open Consortium coalescing around the part, so as to participate in defining standards for 88000 systems.
