Arden Hills, Minnesota-based Control Data Systems Inc has picked up Acer America Corp’s line of personal computers to add to the burgeoning portfolio of kit carried by its worldwide integration business: the deal includes R4000 RISC-based workstations designed specifically to optimise capabilities of Microsoft Corp’s Windows NT system; the Acer agreement was extended to enable Control Data Mexico to integrate Acer products and it has received a multimillion dollar integration contract with a Mexican government agency that includes about $2m worth of Acer products.
