On prospects, Price told the meeting that this year would see the first growth in consolidated turnover at Control Data since 1983, with considerable improvement in profits over last year’s $19.3m net on $3,370m turnover; in the disk drive business, CDC products 510,000 drives last year, up from 318,000 in 1986, and expects to manufacture a million this year.
