CONTROL DATA INVESTS $25M IN TWO SINGAPORE PLANTS

The exodus of US disk drive makers off-shore continues with Control Data investing $25m in two Singapore plants, one to make the Wren 3.5 Winchester at a rate rising to 2,000 a day, the other to make oxide platters for disk drives.
