CONTROL DATA HAS $14M CONTRACT WITH TAIWAN POWER

Control Data Corp has a $14m contract with the Taiwan Power Company for a computer-based energy management system to go into a central dispatch and control centre, two regional sites and two distribution centres, to provide power to 20m users: the system, to be shipped in early 1989, will include two Cyber 180/850A and four Cyber 180/830A mainframes, 49 full-graphics displays and 52 remote terminal units.
