CONTINENTAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO BUY CMI HOLDING

CMI Holding Co management has failed in its attempt to block the sale of their computer leasing company to Continental Information Systems Corp (CI No 700), and their shares have passed to fellow leaser Torchmark Corp and broker Stephens Inc: Continental will complete acquisition of CMI, paying $50m and refinancing $55m of debt to Torchmark.
