The business systems unit of Atlanta phone company Contel Corp, which includes micromaker Cadosystems, is going to a firm, Versyss Inc, formed by the management of the unit to buy the business. Terms were not disclosed, but Contel will take a net charge of $20m against its 1988 profits on divestment of the unit.
