Shareholders of Contel Cellular Inc, Atlanta, Georgia, have filed two separate lawsuits in an effort to block GTE Corp’s proposed purchase of the remaining 10% of Contel it does not already own, the Wall Street Journal reported; the suits claim that GTE’s plan to pay $224m for the minority is too low.
