Conner Peripherals Inc’s Conner Storage Systems unit in Lake Mary, Florida has cut the price of its high-capacity tape autoloaders and 8mm helical scan type subsystems for client-server networks by between 14% to 42%: the 12L-DAT autoloader is cut 42% to $7,500; the 10L-HS, which takes 10 8mm Helical Scan cartridges, is reduced by 26% and now goes for $13,325.
