Allscripts, a clinical software, connectivity and information solutions provider, says the TouchWorks solution automates and speeds common clinical activities such as prescribing medications, ordering lab tests, viewing test results, making referrals electronically and documenting patient visits.
The system is expected to enable CMG’s clinicians in 19 locations throughout the Hartford area to instantly access and share patient records and other clinical information when and where they need it.
Robert Ferrini, CEO of CMG, said, Our mission statement is to provide compassionate medical care of the finest quality with unfailing attention to efficient and comprehensive treatment to all patients. The EHR will continue to improve upon the high quality and safety of care our patients already receive. Electronic records are quickly becoming the norm in ambulatory healthcare because they offer so many obvious benefits for patients and physicians alike.
