SchoolsOpen has designed a simple export process for student data to seamlessly integrate with ConnectEdu’s Connect! – a free web offering for college planning, admissions and financial aid available to high school students, parents and guidance counselors.
To increase access and improve college attendance rates statewide, high schools will be directly integrated with community colleges, colleges and universities to deliver true electronic transcripts and additional college application materials.
As we continue to participate in the movement toward data standards, we are in the interim concentrating on providing a more streamlined electronic data exchange process for high schools and colleges, said ConnectEdu president and founder Craig Powell. Students applying to colleges within the network will experience a faster, more secure and favorable method for sending documents to colleges.
