Connect! Corp has released for download its Quick Client, which it claims compresses Java applets for two to three times faster download. Adding a Quick Server to the configuration increases performance even more. The client runs under Navigator under Windows95 and NT and is being implemented for Mac and Unix as well as other browsers such as Internet Explorer as Java support becomes firmer.
