CONGRESS TO PASS “OPT-OUT OF CALLER ID” BILL

Both houses of Congress are expected to pass bills that would require phone companies to offer customers the facility to opt out of Caller ID systems by dialling an asterisk and a two-digit code before the number, at no cost to the customer.
