Concurrent Computer Corp, Holmdel, New Jersey, plans to enter the supercomputer business by way of an agreement with Princeton University in New Jersey. It has signed for rights to manufacture the Navier-Stokes Computer, development of which was financed by the US National Aeronautics & Space Administration. NASA wanted the parallel processor to simulate air flow over spacecraft and airplanes during flight, and Princeton is building two prototypes for NASA. Concurrent has no launch date for the boxbut will set plans by year-end.
