The Westford, Massachusetts end of Concurrent Computer Corp says that Champaign, Illinois-based Kuck & Associates Inc’s KAP Fortran Optimizer is now available on the 5000 and 6000 series real-time Unix computers: KAP automatically discovers parallelism within Fortran code and enables users to write code more efficiently by inserting the necessary concurrent parallel programming directives where parallel execution will improve performance; the company gave no prices.
