Concurrent Computer Corp, Tinton Falls, New Jersey says it now has a definitive subcontract with a potential value in excess of $60m to supply its high-performance Series 3200 real-time minis to Unisys Corp as the prime contractor for the new US Nexrad Next Generation Radar national weather forecasting programme: this calls for the installation of 175 Nexrad Doppler weather radar sites throughout the US, the Caribbean, and at military bases in Western Europe and the Pacific.
