CONCURRENT COMMENT ON THEIR LOSSES

By CBR Staff Writer

Commenting on its first quarter loss (figures, page five) Concurrent Computer Corp, Oceanport, New Jersey reminds everyone that it had already said it expected its first quarter sales to be below anaylsts’ estimates because of delays of expected spare parts revenues from the US Department of Commerce’s Next Generation Radar programme, and added that it is clear that continuing slow business conditions throughout the world affecting investment in capital goods, combined with worldwide industry and government spending controls have had significant impact on thetour business and could affect revenues and profitability in upcoming quarters; it is also doing a new restructuring but details of any lay-offs in the pipeline were not available.
