Some of those substantial job cuts at Concurrent Computer Corp are indeed to be made this side of the water (CI No 1,478), but it’s the Irish Republic that bears the brunt with 200 people losing their jobs with the closure of the manufacturing plant there by the end of September. All told, it wants to shed up to 580 people. Debt is $175m to $180m with interest of some $27m a year; equity is only $30m to $35m.
