CONCERT GIVES BIG SWITCH ORDER TO NORTHERN TELECOM

The Concert venture of British Telecommunications Plc and MCI Communications Corp has signed a three-year multi-million dollar development and supply agreement with Northern Telecom Ltd for system development and digital switching equipment. Nortel will supply Concert with its Meridian and DMS-250 digital switches and an integrated Network Management capability in both Europe and Asia.
