COMSAT PROFIT MARGIN OVER PERMITTED LIMIT

The US Federal Communications Commission reckons that Communications Satellite Corp, Comsat, now part of ConTel of Atlanta, exceeded its permitted 12.48% profit margin between 1983 and 1986, and is demanding that the firm either repay at least $62m and maybe more, or show why it shouldn’t – within 45 days.
