Comsat Corp says it has acquired full ownership of Mexican satellite communications company IntelCom Red SA de CV, known as IntelCom Mexico. It has been renamed Comsat Mexico and will operate as part of the Comsat International business unit. Comsat Mexico has licenses for both domestic and international satellite communications. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
