Compuware updates Java tools

Compuware Corp is expected to unveil updates across its Java application development, testing and service management products.

The company is due to introduce a new member of the Vantage family – Vantage Analyzer for Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE). Compuware said that Vantage Analyzer for J2EE can be used with its Strobe product so developers can more quickly identify and isolate performance and availability problems in their Java 2 Enterprise Edition applications.

Also expected to be unveiled are OptimalJ 3.3, which is designed to help Java developers quickly build Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), and DevPartner Java Edition 3.3, which features improved detailed analysis.
