Compuware Inc, the $200m-a-year computer-aided software testing company, is to acquire Los Gatos-based XA Systems: XA Systems, based in Watford, Hertfordshire in the UK, develops and markets IBM mainframe programming tools; Compuware expects its user base to increase to 6,000 as a result; no terms.
