The company said that a soon-to-be-released Uniface 9 will further enhance the Uniface application platform suite (APS) by including an advanced integrated development environment (IDE), expanded international language support and automated deployment capabilities.
Uniface View, meanwhile, is said to provide security, search and management features through its web framework, and to enable the integration of third-party applications independent of the technology being used.
Compuware said Uniface APS is further enhanced with the latest version of Uniface JTi and the new Uniface Query Tool. Uniface JTi is a thin client deployment solution offering the ability to deploy ‘zero administration’ applications; the Uniface Query Tool provides ad-hoc reporting capabilities for the end users of Uniface applications, enabling reports to be generated from a simple wizard user interface.
