The Farmington Hills, Michigan-based software vendor’s preliminary figures for the third-quarter estimate that its revenue will be between $318m and $327m, compared to $357.9m in the second quarter, and $450.6m in the same quarter last year.

The company is also predicting that its earnings per share will be in the range of $0.06 to $0.07, below consensus estimates of $0.09 per share, and down from $0.09 per share in the second quarter and $0.08 per share in the same quarter last year.

The company added that revenue from new software licenses is likely to be between $70m and $73m, with maintenance revenue between $98m and $100m and professional services revenue between $150m and $154m. The company’s financial results for the third quarter are due to be announced on January 22.
