Last month Compuware, the firm that says it ‘Makes IT Rock Around the World’, announced the acquisition of Web application performance management player Gomez, for $295m.

It’s obvious that the firm wanted to round out its existing on-premise or client-server application performance management tools. But I caught up with Mark Hillman, Compuware VP strategy and product line development and Imad Mouline, Gomez CTO, to find out a bit more about the technology and Compuware’s integration plans.
