Compuware unveils APM Spring 2012

The new release converges APM and NPM to tackle the challenges of complex data centres

By CBR Staff Writer

Technology performance company Compuware has introduced Compuware APM Spring 2012 Platform Release, a new release of its integrated application performance management (APM) platform.

The new release introduces new enhancements in Compuware dynaTrace Enterprise that simplify performance optimisation, operation and management of modern, dynamic applications. It also provides visibility into both Cassandra NoSQL and Hadoop Map/Reduce Big Data environments.

dynaTrace Enterprise along with its PurePath technology will optimise and manage EC2 and Azure cloud applications as well as Cassandra and Hadoop Big Data applications for enhanced performance and availability.

APM Spring 2012 Release also introduces a new generation of User Experience Management (UEM) application that help large and small organisations optimise the performance of their applications by providing visibility of performance at the edge of the internet, pinpointing problems impacting business performance and conversion rates.

The new generation UEM tames the challenges of modern application delivery, enabling customers to measure and optimise performance at the edge of the internet with the monitoring from within both browsers and mobile native applications.

Compuware APM has also introduced new enhancements to Data Center Real User Monitoring application that converges application performance management (APM) and network performance management (NPM) to tackle the challenges of complex data centres.
