Compuware revs application management suite, touts Google Page Speed deal

All Compuware APM tools now branded Gomez

By Jason Stamper Blog

Compuware announced a new release of its integrated application performance management (APM) suite, the Compuware Gomez platform.

Along with a raft of new features the firm said all APM tools are now branded Gomez, while it also made an interesting announcement in support of Google Page Speed, making it the first vendor to do so.

It said the integration enables organisations to leverage Google technology to automatically assesses web performance against a set of rules, providing a specific score and recommendations for improvement. This allows organisations to optimise their web pages based on industry best-practices, the firm said.

I’ll bring you more after a chat with a Compuware spokesperson that is imminent.
