COMPUTERWOCHE REPORTS EUCOM JOINT VENTURE IS MOVING INTO VALUE ADDED SERVICES MARKET

Computerwoche reports that the Eucom joint venture owned by France Telecom and Deutsche Bundespost Telecom is moving into the European value-added services market via a consortium, in which it will have the majority holding, set up to establish a Europe-wide reservation system based on integrated services digital networks; the other members of the Paris-based consortium, to be known as Eurotop, are the French software house GSI-TT, IBM France, and travel agents TUI and Thomson.
