Wall Street was giving a good impression of a shrinking violet yesterday as share prices sulked in the wake of the Hewlett-Packard Co shock, but in an indication that this is not simply a computer industry problem and that there may be trouble brewing in the wider economy. Bedford, Massachusetts-based Computervision Corp warns that it expects second-quarter earnings per share of about $0.16 on net revenues of about $119m. It did $0.14 per share in the second quarter of last year, but analysts had been hoping it would do $0.18 to $0.19 per share for the second quarter.
