COMPUTERLAND REPORTS WORLDWIDE NETWORK RETAIL SALES FOR THE YEAR OF $1,700M

ComputerLand Corp, Oakland, Calif-ornia has reported worldwide network retail sales through its franchises of $1,700m for the year to September 30, the highest annual sales in the firm’s 11- year history and a 22% rise on the figure for 1986: business at the 250 stores outside the US rose 50% to $472m, and the 100 European stores report-ed a 59% jump in sales to $175m.
