ComputerLand Corp’s decision to change its name to Vanstar Corp has caused some confusion among users and resellers; Merisel Inc’s Merisel FAB Inc unit has been forced to reaffirm to all and sundry that it really did buy ComputerLand Corp’s US Franchise and Distribution Division, and is now busily promoting the ComputerLand name as its own.
