Kalamazoo Plc has followed BIS Group in selling a small hospitality systems subsidiary to a US company; Long Beach, California-based Computerized Lodging Systems is paying an undisclosed sum for Kalamazoo Hospitality Systems; last month, BIS, now owned by Nynex Corp, sold JBA Hospitality Systems Ltd to Hotel Information Systems Inc (CI No 721); Kalamazoo says the hospitality market has become too volatile and it now wants to concentrate on more stable areas.
