Oh dear, sounds like deep trouble in the paradise of UK computer publishing – we hear that Computer Weekly and Computing are both about to suffer a redesign – the knee-jerk reaction to trouble of publishers devoid of imagination or ideas when what is really needed is to increase value to the reader -and remember how Weekly’s last redesign was touted as the last word in brilliant newspaper design! – odd how really successful papers like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal seem to look little different now from the way they did back at the turn of the century…
