COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY VIOLATED NOVELL’S PROPERTY RIGHTS BY COPYING NETWARE AND MARKETING AS PROGRAM CALLED COMPNET

Novell Inc reports that a Spanish court ruled that Computer Technology de Espana SA, Madrid, violated Novell’s intellectual property rights by copying NetWare and marketing it as a program called CompNet: the court decided that CompNet was copied directly from Advanced NetWare, and barred further sale; damages are still to be assessed.
