COMPUTER SERVICES KK TO SET UP CENTER IN US

By CBR Staff Writer

Coals to Newcastle? Computer Services KK, Japan’s second largest computer services company, is to set up a laser card applications development and support center in the US using technology licenced from Drexler Technology, Mountain View, California: in a joint venture with Sumitomo Trading, CSK has already received orders from US hospitals and large car dealers for computer systems that use laser cards; management will come from Japan but it will also employ local staff.
