Computer Sciences Corp of El Segundo, California has been awarded a five-year, $48m contract from the Department of State to support information and communications systems that link 30 US bureaus and 200 international posts including foreign embassies and consulates. The company will provide software development and systems integration services to enhance the State Department’s support of diplomatic posts around the world. Services include planning, analysis, design, development and so on. The contract covers a base period of a year with four renewals.
