Under the terms of the agreement signed in December 2000, CSC will have the ability to globally deploy BMC Software’s service level management solutions to its clients. These solutions support mission critical applications for CSC’s Global Infrastructure Services Group (GIS) and all other CSC business units in support of their managed clients.

The use of BMC Software’s solutions will enhance CSC’s availability of complex applications, overall systems availability and offer end-to-end management of e-business transactions. BMC Software solutions will monitor and manage all the technology components associated with these transactions, and will enable CSC to ensure its clients are getting the level of service required while leveraging CSC’s global operational and administrative initiatives to reduce costs.

CSC also added scalability to support its global outsourced clients’ continuing e-business-driven demand for higher service on the large IMS and DB2 mainframe environments. BMC Software’s solutions provide the foundation for a true 24×7 application availability on these systems. Additional solutions for enterprise storage management, enterprise application integration management, enterprise security administration, database administration and cross-platform enterprise scheduling are also provided with this agreement.
