COMPUTER SCIENCES OFFLOADS OPERATIONS PLANNING GROUP TO I2

Computer services king Computer Sciences Corp, El Segundo, California doesn’t want to be involved in software products and has offloaded its Operations Planning Group products and services division onto Irving, Texas-based i2 Technologies Inc. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. The unit develops and markets Operations Planning Environment optimization software for planning and scheduling. All employees will be kept on by the buyer.
