Facilities management contracts do not always pan out the way the provider might wish, and Computer Sciences Corp reports that the New Jersey state administration has decided to exercise its option to cancel the third year of the $228m contract under which the El Segundo, California company administers state car insurance policies as part of an effort to push more drivers to insure with commercial companies; Computer Sciences expects the decision to cost it about $35m in lost revenue on the contract.
