Computer Sciences Corp, El Segundo, California has been awarded a $45.5m subcontract by McDonnell Douglas Co for communications engineering, scientific software engineering and institutional support to the US Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland: among the projects to be supported are the Space Station, Space Telescope, Gamma Ray Observatory, Cosmic Background Explorer and Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite; Computer Sciences’ subcontract will include a three-year performance period with two one-year renewal options; the value is for the full five years.
