COMPUTER MEMORIES FALLS TO SUN EQUITIES

Computer Memories Inc, Chatsworth, California has agreed to hand over control of the cash shell that used to manufacture disk drives for IBM and the OEM market to an investor group led by Sun Equities Corp, which controls 9% of Computer Memories’ equity. Sun Equities has got the backing of other shareholders, enabling it to speak for 40.6% o the shares. Paul Koether, chairman of Sun Equities, will replace Irwin Rubin as chairman and chief executive of Computer Memories under the deal.
