COMPUTER CORPORATION OF AMERICA HAS VERSION OF MODEL 204 DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR IBM 9370 FAMILY

By CBR Staff Writer

Canadian-owned Computer Corporation of America in Cambridge, Massachusetts has configured a version of its Model 204 database management system for the IBM 9370 family – not too clever since it runs on 370-type architecture, and the 9370 is just another implementation of venerable 370 architecture: a 9375 Model 60 is claimed to support over 50 users on Model 204 without degradation and there will be a load-and-go version for the 9370 set for the fourth quarter at $30,000 on the 9373 to $60,000 on the 9377.
